I fell in love with yoga when I was in college. Since then yoga has gotten me through some very stressful and emotional times in my life. I completed my 200YTT in June 2018 from Moondog Yoga . I enjoy all types of yoga practices and love trying out new poses! My style of yoga is focused mainly on strenthening the physical body but also using breath to move the minid inward to achieve a state of mental clarity and relaxation. Outside of my time in the studio, my husband, Adam, and I own Lily’s Grill and Pottstown United Brewing Co. (PUB). We love interacting with the Pottstown community and giving back any way we can. I am very excited to share my yoga journey with you.
My yoga journey began in 2010 when I was in college. I was struggling with debilitating mental and physical health problems that kept me from doing well in school or keeping a steady job. Desperate for help, I took yoga as a last resort and found that it was my saving grace. It taught me to heal myself of ailments that I thought would plague me my entire life. I began a conscious journey of introspection and learning that created a drastic positive shift in my life. It became my mission to gift this empowering practice to as many people as possible. Upon graduating college, I abandoned my Criminal Justice degree and took my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at MOYO.
I've continued to study not only in yoga anatomy and philosophy, but the ancient sciences of Ayurveda, Alchemy, Herbal Medicine, and Shamanism. Along the way I was introduced to the Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls, and Sound Healing became a pivotal part of my yoga teaching. I incorporate all of these practices into a comprehensive teaching style that roots students into that act of personal transformation through the use of slow flows, deep breath-work, mantra, ceremony, and an appreciation of nature.
